Graphic 45 Checkbook Mini.

What mini album front and back cover with a spine can you make out of one sheet of paper?

This one.

I saw this technique on a you tube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8c-B6voSnMo&feature=em-uploademail made by a designer I follow, steffogal1. She made hers into a journal. I decided that for this application I would turn it sideways and try a mini. I used black cardstock for the base but Steffogal used some really pretty Prima paper on her video. She also shows a great tip for picking out the paper for it. It's a quick project you can do with your favorite leftover papers and comes out to be the same size as a checkbook. A few cut-outs and a little stamping and it was done.I put a magnetic closure on the front.

I

I used my Graphic 45 scraps from lots of their collections and did some inking with Ranger Distress Ink Fire Brick.

You should try one!

DCWV Bella Boutique Mini Album

Look what my sister Jackie and I made today....a flippin little mini. Isn't it nice? We had a nice time putting it together. A little of her creativity and a little of mine, with a lot of gabbing and wah lah! The following pictures I posted will hopefully show you how it all opens. The front cover was cut using SCAL and the Cricut, engineered by Jackie. She's good with that computer!

Thanks for looking!

Want 2 Scrap Log Cabin Mini album

I found this naked chipboard cabin mini at the CHA Show this Spring and thought it would be something different. I like the rustic look of it. Great mini for that outdoor-sy person. The cabin and trees are from the want 2 scrap collection. Website info: www.want2scrap.com           I painted the chipboard cabin and trees with acrylic paints and applied aluminum tape for the tin roof look and then distressed the roof with alcohol ink. Then applied a clear coat over the whole cover. Easy....try it.

Chipboard fishing accents from Paper House Productions and chipboard words from Me & My Big Ideas.

Flip ups allow for photos and shipping tags for the where, what, why and when details.

This would be a great Fathers Day gift for the Dad in your life....or do one for the hunter who takes the week off to go to hunting camp each year.
